Palos Verdes Estates Wedding at St. Francis Episcopal Church

I met Robert and Jeff a few years ago at the first wedding I ever photographed, and I fell in love with them and their amazing catering and decor business, Mr. J's Kitchen! When I decided to organize my own styled wedding shoot as an inspiration to future couples, they were the first to come to mind as collaborators. Their vision was essential to the shoot, and I was so appreciative to have them come to Fullerton and work side by side with me. It was on that day that they surprised me by telling me that they were engaged! I was ecstatic for them and hoped that they would ask me to photograph their big day, and a couple months later I got their message asking!

The day of the wedding arrived and I was mesmerized by their beautiful venue, St. Francis Episcopal Church in Palos Verdes Estates, the church that they attended. I was even more in awe with the love that radiated out of every friend and relative there, including the amazing Reverend Paula. Her heartfelt words caused Jeff and Robert to laugh, cry, and made us all realize that we were witnessing such a monumental milestone in their lives. The part I enjoyed the most is after they were pronounced married, they danced down the aisle! That was the perfect precursor to how the evening would continue...fun, fun fun! Their first dance was beautifully choreographed by Robert, who used to be a professional dancer. Soon after that, guests enjoyed a delicious buffet by none other than Mr. J's Kitchen. And I can't forget all the attention to detail in the decor...from glowing candles in lanterns to custom signage to meaningful photos of the happy couple, it all came together perfectly.

I feel very blessed to have met Robert and Jeff and to have been a part of such an important celebration. Love always wins.
