This bride! This groom! The venue! All of it was so absolutely stunning that I’m at a loss for words.
Lizeth and Oscar met at a party twelve years ago, so to say that their wedding day came with great anticipation is an understatement. This day had been years in the making, and the look on their faces as they saw each other for the first time as bride and groom said it all.
The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Martha Church in Murrieta and was an elegant backdrop for their vows. I love how well they balanced their formal theme with the rustic atmosphere of the reception venue at Lorimar Winery in Temecula. The bridesmaids’ crimson dresses and groomsmen’s dark blue suits really stood out against the natural background of the vineyard and wood details of the barn and wine barrels. The design was flawless. Lorimar Winery lends itself well to gorgeous portraits as the huge open sky spreads wide behind rows of grape vines. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect.
Some of my favorite photos, though, are of Lizeth and Oscar in the barrel room. The intimate setting and subtle lighting looked so romantic as they took a moment to savor how far they’ve come and that their big day was finally here.
The reception was amazing! This crew had some moves. Throughout the night, there was never a dull moment, and you could guarantee that someone was always out on the dance floor. You could see the look of adoration, love, and support on the faces of all their guests.
Twelve years down, a lifetime to go. Congratulations, and happiest of wishes, Lizeth and Oscar!!
