With business expanding, I’ve been lucky enough to build a phenomenal team. This wedding was shot by my amazingly talented associate, Alexandra.
If you travel about an hour south of Los Angeles to the gorgeous San Clemente State Beach, you’ll find the San Clemente Historic Cottage, a charming little 1930s Spanish-style lodge—complete with a ceremony arch and patio perfect for weddings and receptions. The lush, colorful gardens look amazing against the white Adobe brick, giving us plenty of photos ops. The breezy terrace with romantic string lights twinkling overhead sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Sparse vegetation peppers the rocky cliffs and adds natural texture to the photos. This is one of my favorite venues for a small/medium-sized wedding.
The bride and groom, Jessie and Shay, were so genuine and fun. No wonder that most of their guests stayed to the end, partying the night away! Their first look in the gardens outside of the cottage was so sweet and emotional. Shay’s face displayed complete awe and adoration as he turned around to see his stunning bride standing there. They looked exuberant as they finally got to experience this long-awaited day.
All of the vendors did a wonderful job at matching the theme, and Ashley Downes pulled it all together and coordinated the day flawlessly. They were all such a pleasure to work with.
This was not just an ordinary beach ceremony—the historic location and beautiful couple truly made this wedding unforgettable! Thanks for letting us capture your big day, Jessie and Shay—very best wishes!
