Wedding at The Majestic, Los Angeles | Rammy & Marc

Early last month I had the privilege to capture a beautiful wedding at one of LA’s iconic venues – The Majestic. Here’s a rundown of this beautiful event.

The Majestic

I was thrilled to travel to one of Downtown LA's iconic landmarks – The Majestic. Located at the city's heart, The Majestic has a history of being the chosen venue for several Hollywood movies. Now it stands to witness the coming together of two beautiful souls – Rammy and Marc.

Rammy and Marc had their eyes set on The Majestic as they wanted something timeless and grand for the wedding. True to their vision, the Majestic is a sight to behold. With its Art Deco architecture and luxurious interiors, The Majestic did justice to the Hollywood glam theme for this wedding. Besides, anyone who witnesses the grand marble staircase, mile-high ceilings with ornate details, and the cascading chandeliers will be sold on the Majestic, hands down!

The Decor And The Design Details

The planners at Campfire Events did a phenomenal job adding more luxe to this beautiful venue. As for the color palette, there was a consistent theme of navy blue, which could be seen in the wedding invites, table drapes, and even in bridesmaids' gowns.

The planners beautifully arranged the snow-white florals. The sweetheart table was positioned in front of the bank vault and adorned with more flowers, greenery, and an M&R neon sign. The backdrop looked exquisite. It was sure a favorite for photographs!

There were also miniature Cognac bottles for wedding favors. It was an ode to the Cambodian tradition of having VSOP tableside during the celebration.

One of the first things that guests saw upon entry and, quite frankly, the showstopper was the main stairwell with cascading baby's breath and blooms. It looked breathtaking and became a photo moment for all the guests. All of this combined looked like an art illustration from a Hollywood movie.

Getting Ready

The couple and wedding party were a sight to behold. Rammy was dressed in a sleek white Enaura Bridal gown. Marc wore a white tux with a black bow tie. Rammy had her first look with the bridesmaids. Seeing the gorgeous bride, they couldn't help but get emotional.

Rammy's brother-in-law (whose wedding Rammy officiated) married the two of them in front of their family and friends, which added a personal touch to the ceremony. Also, as a surprise during the processional, there was a string quartet playing the epic intro song from The Mandalorian. This was for Marc as he walked down the aisle. The Star Wars fan within him was delighted!

The Reception

One of the most stunning moments of the entire evening was Rammy and Marc's first dance. The scene looked ethereal with the "dancing-on-the-clouds effect" and cold sparks that shot up during their performance. A few moments later, toasts were given by the Best Man and the Matron of Honor, Rammy's sister. Both were comical and heartfelt, making a sweet transition into the cake-cutting shortly after.

There was a traditional American tableside meal for dinner, which ended with a delicious dessert display. The baby-blue marble cake was also a favorite among the guests! Everybody had a great time. There was no shortage of dancing and, more importantly, lots of time to catch up with loved ones.

Thank you, Rammy and Marc, for being an easy couple to work with! Wishing you a very happy married life!
